Telegram dated 9 October 1944, sent by RAAF Headquarters in Florence, advising family of the death of Pilot Officer Hudson Garth Ainslie, in an accident involving an aircraft crash at Florence, Italy; notice, dated 25 April 1961, sent by a florist in Florence, advising Ainslie's family that a floral tribute has been placed on his grave at the British War Cemetery in Florence.
