Description
Members of the 102nd Field Battery stand to after dawn, not long after the second assault on Fire Support Base (FSB) Coral by members of 141 Regiment, North Vietnamese Army, (NVA). The NVA launched a number of pre dawn attacks on FSB Coral between 13 and 16 May 1968. Identified are 4719292 Gunner (Gnr) Alan James Good (left), 217101 Gnr John Edward Schwarze (second from left) and 3410998 Sgt Maxwell John Franklin (right foreground, next to bunker).
