Kure, Japan. 1954. Japanese employees of the British Commonwealth Forces, Korea (BCFK) were paid a retirement allowance on the changeover from direct to indirect hire. This averaged approximately 40,000 Yen per employee and totalled some 565,000,000 Yen.
