Description
Vietnam. An United States Army iroquois helicopter, also known as a Huey, preparing to take off. The helicopter probably belongs to the combined 135th Aviation Company and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) unit. The combined unit was the result of a decision to allow RAN personnel to operate with US Army units. Due to its integrated nature the unit was designated an `experimental military unit' hence the nickname `Emu's'.
