Balikpapan, Borneo. 26 July 1945. Australian engineers at work repairing the wharf and pipe line. The pipes will be utilised to transfer fuel from tankers to storage positions on land. Before the war oil tankers received their cargoes from pipes connected with the storage tanks. Note the damaged jetty.
