Description
A ceremony at the cemetery paying tribute to those British and Australian soldiers who lost their lives as a result of the war. At the conclusion of the ceremony the children of Vignacourt were each allotted the grave of a soldier to look after and tend. The Guard of Honour was composed of members of the 5th Brigade, AIF. The photograph shows M. Thuillier-Buridard, Mayor of Vignacourt, addressing the ceremony.
