A chaplain conducts a funeral service for an unidentified Australian serviceman at the British Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, Yokohama, Japan. The coffin has been draped with the Australian flag. The pallbearers are standing at attention at the graveside, while British Commonwealth officers and servicemen wait at the rear with large wreaths. The funeral is probably that of either 2400748 Private E D Crawley (died 6 March 1953); or 22737 Temporary Corporal K J Hutchinson (died 14 April 1953); or QX25532 Sergeant A B Masterton (died 3 April 1953).
