Description
The grave of 1300 Private (Pte) Robert Fraser Ramsey, 20th Battalion with a British and a New Zealand serviceman. A native of Dublin, Ireland, Pte Ramsay was a labourer from Bacchus Marsh,Vic and embarked with D Company from Sydney on HMAT Berrima on 25 June 1915. Whilst serving at Gallipoli, he was wounded in action and was transferred to St Elmo Hospital, Malta where, on 7 December 1915, he died from complications of his wounds and was buried in the Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
