Charles Bean's brother Montague and his niece Barbara Bean, possibly taken at Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney. One of a series of photographs taken by C E W Bean or family members during his time spent at Tuggeranong homestead while writing the 'Official History of Australia at War 1914-1918'.
