Description
Charles Bean standing near the cosmos and three penny bit (small round garden) in part of the front garden at the Tuggeranong Homestead. A portion of the main entrance and verandah of the house can be seen in the background. One of a series of photographs taken by C E W Bean or family members during his time spent at Tuggeranong Homestead while writing the 'Official History of Australia at War 1914-1918'. The photographs comprise mostly of family, friends, staff and the local region. Photographs from the private collection of C E W Bean held at AWM 38 3DRL 6673.
