The Murrumbidgee River near Pine Island after a flood. The area was a popular place for the residents in the region to have picnics and social gatherings. One of a series of photographs taken by C E W Bean or family members during his time spent at Tuggeranong homestead while writing the 'Official History of Australia at War 1914-1919'.
