Description
Studio portrait of Cecil Stanley Samuel Hibbert wearing the uniform of the New South Wales Lancers, a pre-war cavalry militia unit. Hibbert later enlisted with the 1st AIF at Sorrento, Vic, on 15 July 1915, and served as a private in the 7th Battalion. 2850A Private Hibbert died of wounds in Belgium on 5 October 1917.
