The moat, Fort 9, Ingolstadt
Description
View from the prisoner of war camp in Ingolstadt, Germany during the First World War. The moat was the dominant feature of the camp and many attempts were made by prisoners to escape into the surrounding snow-covered landscape by utilising this unusual feature.
