Description

Go Linh, South Vietnam. An unidentified soldier taking a photograph of Captain David Savage outside a sandbagged bunker used as a conference centre in Go Linh, also known as "Alpha Two" (A2) after a patrol debriefing. A2 was the northern most position in South Vietnam and overlooked the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ). The soldiers are members of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), 1st Infantry Division Reconnaissance Company. The Viet Cong flag that is flying in the doorway of the bunker retrieved during a patrol into the DMZ in February - March 1969.
