Group portrait of members of the Australian Army Medical Corps Officers' and Sergeants' Messes who were on duty. The four members of the Australian Army Nursing Service were visiting the camp. Back row, left to right: Sergeant (Sgt) C Kelson; Sgt A J Love; Sgt H A Osgood-Cannon; Farrier Sergeant D Edward; Sgt W Warlow. Third row: Captain (Capt) C Morley; Sgt E. Ricketts; Capt D Shields; Capt R Strong; Major (Maj) H W Bryant; Sgt A Brown. Second row: Sister Ida O'Dwyer; Capt T Sutherland; Sister Elizabeth Glover; Maj G Horne; Sister Jessie McHardie White; Lieutenant Colonel Hardy; Sister E M Connelly. Front row: Staff Sergeant (S Sgt) O J Lawson; Sgt H G Jackson; Collarmaker Sgt S W Parker; S Sgt F A Bosher and Warrant Officer A H Picken. Capt Morley, Maj Bryant and Capt Sutherland served in the AIF. Sister O'Dwyer, Sister Glover, Sister J McHardie White were all reservists, parading a small number of times a year. Sister Glover served in the Boer War, Sister O'Dwyer served in the Boer War and First World War and Sister McHardie White in the First World War.
