Description
An electrically operated explosive device that was buried in a road by Viet Cong fighters and recovered by Australian sappers from the 1st Field Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers (RAE). The three components consist of the explosive charge (top), the wooden triggering device (centre) and the two plastic battery packs that each hold three 1.5 volt batteries (bottom).
