British prisoners bringing soup to be distributed at Stalag IIIA Prisoner of War (POW) Camp, Luckenwalde, Germany. The soup contained grass and very little meat, prisoners were given a bowl of soup with a peice of bread once a day, Red Cross parcels kept many from starving.
