London, England. 25 September 1918. Australian War Records Classification Subsection, where files of correspondence sent by the units were examined for matter likely to be of interest to future historians. This was then classified, and carefully recorded for future reference. With a staff of over 150 clerks, this Section, in eight months, succeeded in classifying and filing the records which had accumulated during more than four years of warfare.
