Studio portrait of Lieutenant (Lt) Harry MacLachlan MacNee MC, DCM, 10th Australian Light Horse. He enlisted on 27 October 1914 and returned to Australia on 10 July 1919. He was awarded a DCM on 29 November 1915 and a Mention in Despatches on 5 November 1915, both whilst a lance corporal. Lt MacNee was awarded the Military Cross on June 1919.
