Description
Bound, typed and illustrated 40 page memoir of William Charles Gamble, describing his enlistment, training and service with 25 Machine Gun Company in France during the First World War. It is titled " A gamble of Gambletown Trentham" - Chapter 2 - War 1914-1918 - One of its diggers, and it forms part of a longer autobiography. Contains two copies of original photographs of Gamble, and numerous drawn illustrations.
