Brown leather homemade shoulder holster for a Colt Model 1911 semi automatic pistol.
History / Summary
This pistol holster was made by Sergeant B (Slugger) L'Estrange from leather found in an abandoned mine in New Guinea. Sgt Bruce L'Estrange was a member of the 2/7th Commando Company and won a Military Medal for saving the life of an officer under fire.
