Typed and illustrated memoir (18 pages) titled: "A Little Yarn About Myself" by Eric Russell King, describing his Navy experiences during Second World War, mainly serving on HMAS "Australia". Focus is on experiences of the Lingayen battle in the Philippines, January 1945 - combined Allied operation, and general autobiographical content; set of four copied photographs relating to King's Navy service: the HMAS "Australia" and sailors of the ship marching in New York (June 1945) and London (July 1945); copy of extract from the memoir, published in December 1998 issue of "Chin Up" - the magazine of the national TPI (Totally and Permanently Incapacitated service personnel) Association.
