Informal group portrait of five members of the Afrika Korps standing in front of a Ford truck medium cargo 4x2 model G-917-T, believed to have been captured from British or South African troops. It has an air recognition strip on the bonnet. This is one of a series of photographs that belonged to a German officer who was captured on 24 October 1942 during the Battle of El Alamein.
