The graves of four members of the Afrika Korps marked by one makeshift wooden cross. Each individual grave is marked by what appears to be an 88 millimetre anti aircraft shell and steel helmet. This is one of a series of photographs that belonged to a German officer who was captured on 24 October 1942 during the Battle of El Alamein.
