Group portrait of the AIF swimming team which competed in the Inter-Allied Games, at Paris in June-July 1919, at Highgate Ponds Baths, London where the team had its training headquarters. Identified from left to right, back row: 3059 Bombardier Ivan Cuthbert Steadman, 14th Battery, Australian Field Artillery (AFA); 3335 Sergeant (Sgt) George William Morris, 1st Pioneer Battalion; 16154 Driver Lewis Tod Solomons, 2nd Division Motor Transport Company; Lieutenant (Lt) Carlton Wallace Gladstone Stewart Lindsay, 3rd Machine Gun Battalion; and 21439 Sapper (Spr) Harold Hampton Hardwick, 2nd Signal Squadron.
