Darwin, NT. 19 September 1999. A forklift loading pallets of plastic jerry cans, probably for the storage of water, into the rear doors of HMAS Jervis Bay (45) moored at Fort Hill Wharf. HMAS Jervis Bay transported Australian soldiers, vehicles and equipment to East Timor to join the International Force for East Timor (Interfet).
