Description
A large group of dignitaries including 3485 Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) Reginald (Reg) Hackshall, (extreme left) taken at Serang. Sqn Ldr Hackshall of Randwick, NSW, enlisted with RAAF on 25 January 1937 and served in the Second World War. He served with the United Nations as a Military Observer and Military Executive Liaison Officer during June 1947 to February 1949 in Indonesia. Also identified is Lieutenant Colonel Martin wearing a United States Army (USA) peak cap, sixth from the left.
