Description
Dili, East Timor. 13 November 1999. An International Force for East Timor (Interfet) patrol of Australian soldiers from 12 Platoon, 5th/7th Battalion (Mechanised), The Royal Australian Regiment (5/7RAR) moving past civilians through the streets in Dili near the Interfet heliport at the old Dili airfield. The patrol is led by Private (Pte) Scott Caton (front), foloowed by Corporal Hicks, Pte Luke Elmore and Pte Mark Caldwell. There is a sign to the left advertising (in Tetum) items for sale, however the price has been painted over so that everything now costs zero rupiah.
