Description
Australian soldiers of 2 Troop, 1 Field Squadron, 1st Combat Engineer Regiment (Mechanised) attached to C Company, 5th/7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5/7RAR) at the rear door of an M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) in the International Force for East Timor (Interfet) compound. Left to right: Sapper (Spr) Willshaw (standing, left), Spr Blows, Spr Eldridge and Spr Prior (all seated in APC), Spr Edwards (standing, right) and Corporal (Cpl) Glen Donaldson (seated, front). On top of the APC, on either side of the cargo hatch, is a Minimi 5.56mm machine gun to the left and a carry basket to the right. Parked next to the APC on the right is a Land Rover 110.
