Description
A Timorese family walking along the road in Suai, on the 3rd Brigade Headquarters perimeter. Two makeshift huts have been erected by the Timorese in the grassed area behind them. This area had been cleared by International Force for East Timor (Interfet) troops as a field of fire from the perimeter checkpoint shown in P03184.334 but local Timorese families took advantage of the cleared area and built makeshift shelters.
