Description
An unidentified Australian soldier watches as a female medic sterilises a needle over a flame prior to treating him in the 3rd Brigade Regimental Aid Post (RAP), part of the International Force for East Timor (Interfet). They are using a stretcher, which has a contmainated waste bag hanging from it, as a treatment area. In the foreground is Hermenegilho Da Costa, a civilian interpreter employed by the 3rd Brigade.
