Original narrative (12 pages) written by Sergeant Charles Doherty of 12th Australian Light Horse Regiment, describing his personal perspective of the Light Horse charge at Beersheba and subsequent occupation of the town, in October 1917, by 4th Australian Light Horse Brigade. The 4th Brigade included Doherty's regiment - the 12th Light Horse; transcript of narrative.
