NX202957 Corporal C S Johnston, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), captain of the winning Norths team (front, crouching), holds the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) Athletics Trophy. The athletics meeting was held at Anzac Park. Other members of the successful mile medley relay team are, standing left to right: 22696 Sergeant (Sgt) K J Troy; 1314 Sgt T L Muggleton and 22782 Private L R Holt. All four servicemen had served in the Second World War prior to BCOF. Sgt Troy, Sgt Muggleton and Pte Holt all went on to serve in the Korean War and Vietnam War.
