Description
Papers associated with the military service of Private (Pte) Harry Rinkin who served with the 1st Battalion during the First World War. Pte Rinkin enlisted in October 1916 and saw action on the Western Front. Pte Rinkin's papers comprise a series of letters written to his family from Larkhill England in 1917, photographs and silk postcards. The papers of NX36808 Milton Ray Page comprise an album of photographs depicting landscapes and mosques in Alexandria and Jerusalem, c1942.
