Description
A lithographic postcard of two portraits of unidentified actors on stage at the theatre for Prisoners of War (POW) at Dulmen POW Camp, Germany. Men took on female roles out of necessity. This is most likely a propaganda postcard produced as a series from this camp. One of a series of over 400 photographs sent by Australian POWs in German camps to Miss M. E. Chomley, Secretary, Prisoners Department, Australian-British Red Cross Society, London. Original album housed in AWM Research Centre at RC00864, Album image number 333.
