Informal group portrait of four Australian Women's Flying Club (AWFC) members. The AWFC was formed in 1938 and was the forerunner to the Women's Air Training Corps (WATC) and the Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force (WAAAF). Ms Hilda Dunleavy (second from right), was a dominant figure in the voluntary service aid's during the second World War.
