Near Loos, France. 7 February 1918. A view of the ruins of Fosse 15, near Loos, showing the `Tower Bridge' Colliery. The cloud effect shown was produced by the bursting of an enemy 5.9in shell, 140 yards from the camera. The 3rd Australian Tunnelling Company was working in this area st the time.
