Captain (Capt) J L O'Rourke (left), aged 35, of Preston, Vic, 2IC, 2nd Commando Company, Citizen Military Forces (CMF). Capt O'Rourke is getting a lesson in jungle tracking from an unidentified Iban tracker (centre) of the Sarawak Rangers who is attached to 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR). 1/1987 Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Kenneth M (Ken) Brodie (right), aged 35 of Stafford, Qld, 1RAR, looks on. Capt O'Rourke and the Iban tracker are armed with 7.62mm L1A1 self loading rifles (SLRs) and WO2 Brodie is armed with a 9mm Owen machine carbine.
