Description
Egypt. English bombs in the sand outside a shed, probably the Q store. The large bomb in front is a 110 pounder, which is detonated by the small propeller on the front. The propellor spins into the bomb as it is falling to the ground and at a certain point, sets off two or three charges to detonate the bomb. The smaller bombs at the back were often hand held and dropped out of the aircraft by the pilots.
