Description
German propaganda photograph captured by the RAF.
RAF Caption: "Life goes on after a terror raid in a big city. Taking no notice of the ear-splitting noise caused by a shovel between splinters and stones, the gay and confident people move through the streets which have been destroyed by the cowardly murderers".
The photograph is of a young couple and two officers, one arm in arm with a young lady walking down a street. Behind them tram lines are visible. Further behind a severely bomb damaged building can be seen and men are shovelling rubble into the tray of a large truck.
