German propaganda photograph captured by the RAF.
RAF Caption: "Life is carried on after a terror attack on a large town. Traffic here carries on without interruption after a night attack. The outer walls of the station have fallen in, but trains come in and move out as planned, and the traffic runs as usual. Opposite a large hole is torn in the house front, walls of the house are missing right and left; the in between has collapsed into a heap of rubble."
The photograph is of a German Steam Locomotive pulling into the platform. The locomotive is a stream lined design probably a BR 03.10 which was used to pull overnight intercity express trains. The passengers on the platform are a mixture of soldiers and other men and the suitcases and packs that they are carrying supports the inference that they are embarking on a long journey.
