Sydney, NSW. 1920. The battle cruiser HMS Renown in Sydney Harbour in 1920. During the 1920s, Australia played host to several flag showing visits from Britain and overseas navies. The Prince of Wales arrived in Australia and New Zealand on an official visit in Renown in 1920 and reviewed a fleet of thirty two ships in Port Phillip. A visit to Sydney was also on the itinerary for the British ships.
