Description
Battlefield grave of QX19020 Private (Pte) Charles Westland Rogers, 2/31st Battalion. Pte Rogers was killed in action on 11 June 1941 during combat with Vichy French forces. Pte Rogers a grazier from Longreach, QLD, was aged 39 and had previously served in the CMF. Several months later his body was re-interred at the Damascus War Cemetery, Syria.
