Description
Officers of the 2/1st Field Regiment on board the SS "Pennland" en route from Alexandria, Egypt to Athens, Greece. Identified left to right; NX134 Captain Grahame Yorke Scarlett; NX109 Captain R.F.A Becke, Regimental Medical Officer and NX147 Captain Kenneth Folkard Dwyer. Captain Dwyer was killed in action on 20 April near the villiage of Kravasaras, south of Thermopylae, Greece. He was 29 at the time of his death (see also 006122).
