Description

Two German children standing at the head of the original graves of No 21870 Corporal H Foster, 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers, and PO/1216 (S) Private J Bohan, Steward, Royal Navy, British prisoners of war who died at Gohren, Rugen Island, in the Baltic, whilst in captivity. The graves were found and photograph taken by Captain C Mills, AIF, whilst searching for alleged secret prison camps.
