At Sea. 1942. The light cruiser, USS San Juan, in action against Japanese aircraft. Her forward 5 inch gun mountings and Mark 37 Director are engaging to port. The after mountings are trained to starboard. The ship is camouflaged in the 'splotch' pattern favoured at that time. Note bursts of anti aircraft shells in the sky.
