South Vietnam. 3 June 1967. Troops of 2RAR /NZ (ANZAC) (The ANZAC Battalion comprising 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment and a component from the 1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment), waiting to leave HMAS Sydney by Chinook helicopter for the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) at Nui Dat in Phuoc Tuy Province. The troops, replacements for 6RAR which was leaving after a 12-month tour of duty in South Vietnam, spent ten days aboard HMAS Sydney before disembarking in Vung Tau Bay.
