The following autographs were on the back of the original mount of this image: Lieutenant (Lt) L Findlater; 903 Sergeant (Sgt) Patrick Reddan, Clerk from Paddington, NSW; 847 Sgt Eric Sydney Evans from Sydney, NSW; 828 Sgt Cecil Nicholl from Coogee, NSW (originally from Wellington, New Zealand); 877 Sgt Gordon Robertson Mitchell from Narrabeen, NSW (later promoted to Second Lieutenant); 888 Corporal (Cpl) James McLeod from Newcastle, NSW (later promoted to Second Lieutenant and killed in action at Gallipoli on 10 August 1915); and 904 Cpl David Rogers from Liverpool, NSW.
