Major DJ Glasfurd (later Brigadier General), having his hair cut by Major ES Stokes (DADMS Australian Division), who is smoking a pipe. On 12 November 1916 Brigadier General Glasfurd was mortally wounded at 'Cheese Road', in France, when commanding the 12th Australian Infantry Brigade.
