A group portrait of allied and Japanese medical staff outside a disused police barracks at Tavoy, Burma, where 2/4th Casualty Clearing Station ran a small hospital. They shared their quarters with three Dutch doctors from Sumatra. 'A' Force was building an aerodrome nearby.
